My name is Oleg Rusakov, and I am the founder of OlegHome.
My journey began in the former Soviet Union, where I developed a passion for engineering, design, and construction. After completing high school, I earned my degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering and Project Management, building the technical foundation that continues to guide every project we undertake today.
In 1998, shortly after beginning my career in Canada, I started a small painting company with a simple goal: deliver honest workmanship and exceed every client’s expectations. Through dedication, continuous learning, and a commitment to quality, that small business evolved into OlegHome—a full-service renovation and construction company serving homeowners throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Today, OlegHome specializes in residential renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, structural improvements, and complete home transformations. While our primary focus is serving clients across the GTA, we have also had the opportunity to participate in select international projects, bringing our experience and high standards beyond Canada.
What makes OlegHome different is our collaborative approach. Every successful renovation is the result of talented professionals working together toward a common goal. We proudly partner with trusted suppliers, interior designers, architects, engineers, specialized trades, and skilled independent contractors to deliver projects that combine exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and lasting value.
Over the past several years, one of the most meaningful parts of our journey has been supporting newcomers to Canada, particularly those arriving from Ukraine and other countries in Eastern Europe. We believe that talent has no borders. We have been especially proud to help skilled professionals, including individuals with hearing disabilities, build meaningful careers and new lives in Canada. Their dedication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail have become an important part of our team’s success and the quality we deliver to our clients.
